Here is your chance to take control of my content
My goal over the next few months is to get to know you a lot more 👀. But I can't do it without your help. Give me 2 minutes and help me make relevant and useful content for you 🙌
Hey Designers, hope you’re surviving another week. I spent the weekend spending some serious time thinking about my goals to create more valuable content for you guys ❤️
One of my primary focuses for the next few months is getting to know you all a lot better so that I can ensure I’m providing content that you actually find valuable and useful. But I can’t do that without your help.
In my last email I added a link to a 2 min survey and a few of you have already given me some great input
What's are some of the challenges you're facing in your career right now? Or what are some of the skills your working on improving?
“After layoff hard to find a new job now :( Work on skills how to 'sell' myself”
“Not having a mentor, and doing and exploring everything on my own.”
“Challenges: - I'm struggling to follow along during strategic-level conversations as I'm not normally included in them. Is there a way I could learn how to understand the client/business headspace better so that I've always got that stuff front of mind when those discussions appear and when I'm presenting work?”
I especially can’t wait to help with this one 👆 such a great question 🙏
I’m building out my content backlog as we speak and I’m going to directly use everything you put in there to create new content ideas. So, help me help you 😊
Oh you’re still reading … well then I can let you in on a little secret 🤫
Since my goal is to get to know you all more I have some cool stuff I’m brewing up...
✨ Going live weekly!
I’m planning to go live on tiktok once a week! You can even register so you don’t miss it. I’ve just enjoyed hanging out with you guys so much every time I go live, I want to do it more often. You all ask so many great questions so I hope to see you there! Be sure and bring your UX / Product Design questions :)
📅 Small group sessions
This month I want to do 4 small group sessions, 7-8 people only, based on your current career position. Ex. junior designers, senior designers, etc. Since you face very different challenges at each stage I thought it could be useful / cool to have a more intimate and focused discussion. WDYT?! 🤔
If you have any thoughts or suggestion please reply to this email. I’m all ears!
